The Connecticut AIDS Residence Coalition is pleased to launch a new initiative: The Connecticut AIDS Red Ribbon License Plate Campaign. Interested individuals will be able to purchase a special background license plate from the Department of Motor Vehicles with the traditional AIDS red ribbon and the slogan, "AIDS Affects Us All." Anyone interested would be required to donate $20 (Leeway is a beneficiary) to the AIDS organization of their choice, as well as pay a one-time fee of $65 to the DMV for the special plate.
